June 8, 2025 Queen Rearing Class

  Class Fee $65  ($50 for KCBA Members)

 

Taught by Peggy Garnes.  Peggy is a member of the Buckeye Queen Producers and has been producing queens for sale for years.

Date: June 8, 2025

Time: 10am to 4:00pm

Lunch will be provided.

Location: My Bee Supply, 13600 Old Mansfield Road, Mount Vernon, OH

This is a hands-on class.  We will be learning about:

  1. Bee mating biology
  2. Grafting equipment
  3. setting up cell builder hives
  4. Grafting and other techniques for queen rearing
  5. Much, much more.

Because of the way the class is structured we will be limiting the class size to 20.
